Dr Susanne Surman-Lee chaired the ESCMID ESGLI panel which produced the first guidance for building owners to prevent waterborne infections including Legionnaires disease as a result of building closures and changes of use during the pandemic including for general buildings including hotels etc., hospitals, nursing and care homes and dental practices. see the links below
Susanne is also the water webinar programme Director for the RSPH water webinar series and presented a webinar back in April about how to manange the risks from water stagnation in premises during the COVID-19 lockdown. This webinar reached 62 countries and over 1900 particpants.
